I concur (I love this phrase, itcomes from Catch me if you Can) that 6 is the better image. That little hint of a smile was just enough to make the image.

thanks to all, smiling is overrated to me and is always expected when infront of the camera.. musicians are very serous people and this is what i wanted to show..
if i was doing her senior pictures i would have had her smile..

anyways it is all subjective, but the camera still impresses me every time the Compact card is dumped into my pc..

phamster, image #2 would have been great if you didn't cut off her feet. Love how you did light this scene. Off camera flash rocks! :)

I was sweating trying to get the exposure of the first picture right when the swan came along asking for its picture to be taken.

Compared to the crop sensors, I know the 5D2 is not the first body nature photographers reach for, but here are a few with this camera. All with the 100-400L which I try to always use in the f8-9 range:

Molly and Marissa are good friends, and they wanted some photos with charm and expression of their sprite personality.

shot with 5Dmk II, outdoors was with 15x15 soft box, alzo, 580EXII half power, indoors was with 28x28 soft box, wescott apollo, 580EXII half power.

lens was 24-70. all manual settings..
