I don't use it at all. My HG21 camcorder is way more convenient to pick up and get recording fast. Mind you, AVCHD is such a pain that I've yet to actually do anything with the captures. The 5D2's video might be easier to deal with given the format. 5D2, 24-105L, 85mm f/1.8, MP960, HG21, crumbling G6+R72, Brownian toddler

A village that was deserted, but now brought back to life again, seated on the Monti Sibillini. Did you travel through the Abruzzi coast? Not the most interesting shot, I realise, but the fact that it's this clean at ISO 12800 really leaves me breathless! I'm a happy 5DII owner, indeed... =--My Gear List --=

My dad's parents came from somewhere around Montesilvano in the Pescara region. We kept ourselves mostly in Umbria and Tuscany, so the nearest coast was when we drove down the coast from Pisa and went to Piombino, to take a glance of the isle of Elba and Monte Christo (we never took the ferry over though). anthony11 wrote in post #8451141 If, one day, I could achieve the quality of Petra's *discards* I'd be a happy man. Now what would the chances be, for someone like me, to come and visit you at the zoo and get a guided tour?? You must have one of the coolest and fun jobs there is, and being able to photograph the animals so up close! /Petra Hall

Very high Petra; if you can get your self over the North Sea to London some time soon, I shall ensure you have some photographic moments above and beyond what the public get to deal see behind the scenes, inside enclosures etc James
