Aug 13, 2009 18:33 | #4158 Hope you all don't mind me hanging out here. I was just about to pull the trigger on a 50D and a couple of lenses. Just as I was about to hit the left mouse button I thought "what am I doing?" Going to wait, save some more $ and get a 5DII instead. Will take longer but, will be worth the wait. Looks like this camera would be the best choice for my type of photography. I do mostly macro and "walk around" photos (candid street and birds and small animals in the parks). I will be shooting my first paying job this Saturday (B-day party); that will put 100.00 in the 5DII pot.

Then I remembered that I took a photo of nearly that same sunset, so I went and found it, and sure enough...  Still the same beautiful sky down there. Hope you enjoyed your cruise.

I just saw your other post from your cruise, and sure enough, same destinations I had on my cruise a few years ago (although your ship looks WAY better than the one I was on). I love your shot of Lands End in Cabo - That's me and my wifes favorite vacation destination.
