Fuzzmuffin, that's a beautiful photo... love the light and the fact that the boat is so well lit in that darkness. Well done!

Jam, funny... I was at the railway tracks today too... but with a bride and groom, so they didn't want to get down and dirty. Love these, well done!

Another sorta commercial shot presented as a triptych. Single strobe reflected off a diffusing panel, a slice of lemon, and lots of splashing.

Very gracious of you, CyberPet. I, of course, have been quietly admiring your gorgeous images from Italy.

2 Pictures of my adorable model. Both taken using my 24-105mm F4.0 lens. No sharpening applied!!! Some enhancement in Camera Raw but only minimal. Then downsized in photoshop.

those are gorgeous photographs and now I get to see what that lens is capable of. Is that from a 5D II ??

Thanks Fuzzmuffin and jetcode.
Your picture is just perfect Fuzzmuffin. I love the way you balanced the lighting on the right side with the boat on the left. It is just awesome.
Jetcode the pictures are from the 5Dii. The 24-105 is a very good lens. If only it had a wider aperture to be able to isolate my subjects even more. I also suffers from some distortion and chromatic aberrations when used at both ends, but nothing which cannot be corrected in PP.

Taken several weeks ago a day after I got my 5D mkii.

I couldn't wait to go out shooting with my new camera, so stuck my 70-200 on and took some shots at bicentennial park in sydney.

The reduced quality jpegs for uploading make the pics seem rather unsharp. But straight out of the camera without any adjustment, the pics were very very sharp.

Neat shot with the storm coming in! (or going out?)

Is this Bloody Bay? It just doesnt look the same without the M/Y Zein moored out there!

Phamster, I love that shot in the aisle of the church!

What lighting setup did you use for the ones outside?
