I constantly feel like my camera isn't sharp enough.

Is it worth it to have Canon calibrate the lens to the body?

It's sharp enough.... just a tad underexposed.

You have micro adjust. Use it.

My Sigma 12-24mm arrived while on holidays, this lens has the ability to bend light in the nicest of ways. You also need to keep an eye out for your shadow when the sun gets low!!

All C&C welcome...

Can someone please tell me what functions the wireless 5D Mark II remote has? Does it have the ability to zoom in and automatically focus on the subject while filming in 1080p mode like my Canon HG21 HD video camera has?

With the RC1 remote you can stop and start the video function. I don't believe you can set the AF though, and you definitely can't zoom in.

No, the only function is has is to actuate the shutter. It can't stop/start video or autofocus.

The RC1 can control video.

Yeah, I love using the RC-1... It works great.. yes, you have to trigger from the front of the camera, but for most things I do, you can easily trigger the shutter without having to have your hand in the frame..

Best $20 ever spent. It's great to have it attached to the neck strap - always have it at your disposal and much harder to lose it.
