i have a lil problem with my mk2 ....
several days ago ,i just bought my mk2 ..
and do some shot ...

yesterday evening ... i check my mk2 .. and i found like a dust in view finder ... i dont know if the dust inside the view finder or on the mirror or whereever ...
i already blow it with my blower on the mirror ,at the view finder .. but it didn't works .. the dust(maybe) still i can see through view finder .. but it doesnt effect the photo ...

i read the issue for 5D classic, they said 5D classic, dust can enter the view finder ... how about the mk2 .. is it mk2 have the same issue about dust in viewfinder ?

i had loads of dust in my sensor after a 2 day shoot when it was real windy. Go to menu and then to the 6th tab (2nd yellow one) and go to sensor cleaning and go to clean now, try that and then if that doesnt work, which it didnt with me also, choose clean manually and then with the lens off, have the camera upside down and blow inside with one of those rocket blowers. This worked for me then

Blower is you're only option, short of doing a wet clean on either the focus screen and/or the mirror, or finally, leaving it alone and ignoring it, since it doesn't affect your photos.

I have various dust spots in my viewfinder, I've stopped worrying about them and very rarely do I even "see" them anymore. It's kind of like floaters on your cornea.

If you see it in the viewfinder, it's on the ground glass. Not on the mirror, lens or sensor.

Don't worry over it, it won't affect your images.

You can try a bulb blower, but I wouldn't try to clean it further: Chances are you'll damage it.

The castle shot is superb, but yes, make the watermark a tad smaller. (No one is going to pinch the photo :-)) On second thoughts, someone may steal it, but take it as a compliment!

You have the camera/lens combo singing. The photos are superb. Please post some more.

Ozi.
