Terrific job. Elvis Presley and David Essex would be proud.

lannes, theese are really cool shots!!
How did you manage that fast shutter-speed still using iso 100? Is it a speedlite-trick?

It was a very bright day and I shot at f/2.8

I just picked up Canon EF 50 f1.4 and here are the result with my 5Dmk2

What do you guys think of the Bokeh?
Both were taking at f1.4. Little bit of PP done

The reason I ask b/c some people are having issues with this lens when its wide open and I just want to make sure my copy is good.

Hmmm as I size the picture for the POTN, sharpness seems down as well for the second picture....I did not touch any detail or clarity during the PP.
IS this sharp enough?

Thanks guys!

I am considering buying 5d MKII. I will be upgrading from my 5D classic.
I have a big question. Does the remote capture software work for Windows 7 Professional 64 bit for MKII since it does not work for my 5D MK1. I do a lot of night shots and want to tether my laptop and do a remote shoot.
TIA

Yes.

Older cameras, ie my 20D, your 5Dc, etc don't have 64 bit drivers. That's not a problem with the 5D2.

Took five minutes in Photoshop, if that

>copy the bit you want in colour (lasso tool)
>Paste into a new frame
>desaturate the original layer
>merge layers

Things get a bit more tricky with animals, where you should use the clone tool into a newly created layer, but it works:

I am not a professional.
My 5D2 seems to have, for lack of a better description, an hyperactive red channel.
Especially when it comes to skin.
Has anobody heard of this complaint?
Do I need to send it in to Canon?
Please direct me to the area I need to post a complaint like this if does not belong here.
Thank you.

I may be mistaken, but it looks like Hanauma Bay in Oahu, Hawaii... I visited a couple years back and went snorkeling there!
