Ok...have searched and cant find any topics on what people have paid to have their shutter replaced in their 5D. i am finding that anything over 1/4000 sec is giving me the black line of death...shutter death that is. also going to have them calibrate the focus because it is all over the place. thats another story.

so...

Has anyone paid to have their 5D shutter replaced? If so what was the cost. Thanks everyone.

My 20d shutter cost me 213 shipped, but that's on 20d. 5D might be more, don't know. Let us know when you find out for sure.
