haha you have a nice view! I like the previous one, too.

Thanks!

It is a nice view for sure but I really need to get out and shoot other areas of the city. Now with the the fall colors finished, I kind of feel like a bear ready for winter hibernation only I know there's a ton of great subjects out there, ready to be captured, regardless of the season and my gear is fully spec'd out to deal with that too so the rest is up to me to get out there and grab it, cold be damned!

Cheers!

There's no firmware updates or hacks that will address that issue, AFAIK.

But you can record raws and jpegs at the same time and not that difficult to separate them in post by sorting the file by type.

Good luck in your search for a decently priced used one...shouldn't be too hard to find. ;)

Cheers!

Cheers for that, is a shame as it's nice to keep swapping out the CF card on my IIn and not worry about the SD card knowing it is recording JPEG versions of very shot for emergency use, even though i store it in low quality. will have to address my process and card capacities if i can find abody at the right price.

Anyone selling in the UK?

Nice work, AB! ;)

I really like the arch shot and the nice exposure that kept the cloud detail!

Cheers!

Steve Allen - What's My Line?

Quick Question -
Does the 1Ds II Charger work on international voltage without a voltage converter (ie 110 and 230-240v?)?

Anyone taken it overseas and not had a problem?
Just need to know before I get one!

Thanks!

The Steve Allen guess is incorrect...but, might actually be correct too as I was thinking of a different actor who used it in a movie around 1976

The charger is rated to auto switch between 110/240, 50/60hz systems. You will need a plug adapter though to change the blade plugs into round plugs. That's a 2 dollar item widely available though.

Also, I don't have direct experience with this working in 220/240 volt systems but I do with the charger that came with my 5D camera and that one worked without issues so, I suspect a 1D series product would follow suit.

Cheers!
