Well the weather is supposed to hold up like this for the next few days so make some time and make use of the longer daylight now too!

Nice view of Montreal and the St. Lawrence river!

Cheers!

What are your most use color setting in the 1Ds and when you use it?

I just picked up my 1DsmkII at the post office today. so far, I'm very impressed. Until I get a 24-105L, I'll use my 7D kit lens (28-135mm) with it for a walk around. Even the kit lens seems to do a decent job.

I've decided on the 24-105L instead of the 24-70L to have IS. I'm also looking forward to getting a 1.4x extender to go with my 100-400L which I'll be able to autofocus.

Here's a test photo shot today at mid-day using the kit lens.

^^Good stuff, Jeff. Looks like it's gettin' warmer, up North.

Michael, if AB wants to send me his dud...I'll take it...and if it doesn't work out for me...I'll send it to you.

Hope all the newcomers to this body are finding it to be a useful tool...it really is a good one. ;)

I've been having thoughts...but, not takin' any action any time soon. Gonna hold on to this one, regardless. ;)
