I use one of those on my computer and simply take the card out of the camera, plug it into the drive and transfer the files onto my hard drive. Doing this also saves a bit of battery time for shooting on the camera rather then spending it transferring files. Cheers! I do have a cf reader, I just can't connect the camera to change the user preferences. 1Ds Mark II, 5D Mark III, Canon AE1, Yashica Electro 35, Mamiya RB67, Yashica 124, some lenses with red rings on them, and some flashey things

If i remember correctly, it won't run on 64bit even if you get a firewire card, i have an old laptop lying around with 32bit XP on it that i grabbed a firewire card for and used that, it worked very glitchily but it worked once, the second time it didn't want anymore... Or last time i didn't want to bother with the laptop, i just visited a large Photostore in my area who had Macs with EOS Utility on them, connecting to firewire that way worked on the 2nd computer. Not good.. all my PC's are 64bit now. Maybe I'll try what you did, although I don't think I absolutely need to get in there to change anything as of right now. 1Ds Mark II, 5D Mark III, Canon AE1, Yashica Electro 35, Mamiya RB67, Yashica 124, some lenses with red rings on them, and some flashey things

You can just set them once and turn them on-off in the camera after, theres maybe one or two settings that you MAY at some point want to fine tune, like AEB, 2,3,5,7 shots. The rest i just had them set to what i would need, and then turn them off in-camera when i don't want them. Feel free to call me Case.

airbutchie Not too crunchy More info | Oct 12, 2011 10:40 | #8894 ^ It is, Zen... First blanket of snowfall @ Park City for the upcoming season... The day before this shot, the entire field/moutainside was completely covered with the "white stuff"... The resort mentioned ~2" of light snowfall during that day!!! Ironically, if you look back a few pages, I posted shots a day before the snowfall came... Pretty crazy season changes within 24-48hrs... Hi. My name is Butch...
