You say you have had a couple of premature failures (shutters) what did yours give up on and how far out of warrantee were they if you don't mind me asking, I take it your sensors were ok?

Let's see... I had two 1D-series bodies; 1D2 and 1Ds2... Both were out of warranty... Any fixes would be done out-of-pocket with my CPS discount... The 1D2 had its failure at 49k actuations... The marks don't look that bad to me. 3/4's of the time I end up fixing worse sensor dust marks. Not ideal perhaps, but not worth the money to fix. Personally, I'd keep insisting that they pay for it, but if that didn't work, I'd just live with it. Jon
