I would like to get a 4 gig SD card for my new SX10 but all I can find are SDHC cards in 4 gig. Is the SX10 compatible with SDHC, or do I need to buy an SD card with less memory such as 2 gig?

Thanks.

Zell, Yes, it uses SDHC cards as well. Do yourself a favor and go to the Canon website "Powershot.com" will do and download the used manual for the SX10 IS. It will answer a lot of your questions and you will know a lot more about your camera when you get it. I always do this when making a big buy.

Over 2 GB you'll only find SDHC, since the SD spec stops at 2 GB; the SDHC spec takes over there.
