I went over to my Uncles house today and brought my camera with me. They have a little dog and he doesn't really like me but today he was acting worse than ever. He didn't come out until my mom found him and he seemed pretty terrified the whole time. I realized, after scaring him pretty good with a couple of pictures, that one of the new features the 580EX II has over the original is "silent" recharging recharging. It is not in fact silent but rather the sound is at an ultrasonic frequency humans can't hear. Maybe, to the dog, the recharge is like a dog whistle. There could have been a million other reasons he was acting funny but I was wondering if anyone had any similar experiences.
