Hi.
I've had a search round the threads and cant find the answer I want.

What brand of batteries are Mk1 (or are they the same as other Canons??)users using that are non genuine??

Genuine Canon here in Aust are close to $300, and I thought Ned Kelly was dead.

Thanks
Bruce.

Bruce -

I got a pair of 2200mah batteries shipped down from Hong Kong off eBay. I think the seller was co_battery.

They're not perfect, but fine for the price. YMMV.

Another eBay seller, aussie_battery has the 1650mah items.

Thanks Simon... wasnt sure if they would be anygood off ebay, rather pay a bit more and get good batterys, but its hard when they are $20 off ebay or $300 from the shop...

That was my dilemma too, so I bought a 2nd hand genuine battery, also off eBay, for about $60. It is hopeless. Visually it is flawless, but struggles to get 60 shots.
