Picked up a lensbaby composer and an accessory kit with it. The accessory kit comes with, 4x macro filter, 10x macro filter, wide angle filter, tele filter, and a creative aperture kit. The lens cost me 270 and the kit cost me 110, canadian dollars.

Build quality is poor. It was made in China and it feels like it too. The ball and socket design is fantastic though and this lensbaby has a focus ring unlike all the others. Using this lens is soooo much easier then the previous versions.

The lens is an F 2.0 and has drop in aperture discs. There are no electronics in the lens whatsoever.

Using the lens is easy though, simply slap the thing on, put it in Av, Metering works like normal only you can't see your aperture value. point, focus, and shoot.

IQ is okay but nothing to write home about. This lens is obviously intended for artistic folk not pixel peepers.

Here are a few test images. I'll be testing it out more as the weekend progresses. If you want 100% crops let me know but I didn't worry about it this time around because frankly I've been doing enough pixel peeping lately and I'm tired of it.
#1 at F2.0 I think....

#4 I don't know what F stop this would be? I'm using a star shaped aperture to achieve this effect. The lights are not star shaped! it's simply the shape of the bokhe.

#5 This shot was taken with the tele extender @ F8.0 I'd say the IQ is decent... but it's not replacing my 85mm 1.8 anytime soon.

The star (and all of the "creativity kit" pre-cut apertures) is approximately f/4 sized (as listed in the literature by the lensbaby people).
