Tried something different today and added the 1.4X teleconvertor to the Leica R 560/6.8 for 784mm's on the 5D. A little soft but workable especially figure they were either handheld, monopod supported, or rested on the truck window.

Nice captures of a pied-billed Grebe and an American Kestrel. looks like a good combo!
