70-200L f4, 24-105L and then 17-40L.

Thats the exact order I got my 3 L lenses in lol.

Brought the 70-200F4L when I had my 600D. Upgraded to the 6D and brought the kit lens 24-105L package and 4 weeks ago got the wide angle I wanted with the 17-40L.

Now I just need to find time to use them more :P

My first L was a 70-200mm 2.8 IS many years ago (I'd say about 7 years ago?)…

Absolutely blew my mind at the quality of shots I got out of this lens and I never looked back. To this day, I think the 70-200 2.8 IS L would be the last lens to leave my collection.

Was able to make some money on it also when I first got it shooting hockey action shots for parents at a local rink, so the lens ended up paying for itself.

Over the years I've slowly acquired a nice selection of "L" lenses. Once you buy one, you desire another.. and another.. :)

My first L lens was the 70-200 f4 non IS. I still have it and enjoy using it. Someday, I will probably upgrade to the 70-200 f2.8 IS v II. :)

First time I got a bunch of gear it was the 70-200 non is, great lens that got me a bunch of keepers.
then I got voidaphobia, I had to fill all the holes in the camera bag I got so every time I saw a bunch of good shots on a lens thread I got another lens.
Ended up with 4 or 5 l's I didn't need. Sold them all to buy a boat.
Now the boat has gone I am starting over a lot more carefully. My only lens at this point it the 24-105 which everyone is selling off which should be good for my 2 week trip to the Dominican republic in April.
