YOUR first L lens?

35L replaced my Sigma 30. Never looked back!

70-200 f/4 non IS in 2006.

Don't recall posting here - TS-E 17mm f/4L. Strange way to start off, huh? My very second lens that is a prime and that is normally used, too (before I bought it I got some junk kit lens, but I never use it).

It's all been downhill from there. Still, "worse" isn't bad - the 135mm f/2L. Totally different lens, of course.

just recently got my first L a 24-105 around a month ago and Ive also just got a 70-200 IS f4L. I want a 100mm Macro L next..I will never look back now

I have deff caught the L series bug now and I want more!

1st off i film night clubs with a canon t2i and i use my 50 1.8
but i wanted to buy a new lens thats good in low light so about 1.4
and a lens that could get a full body view up close
EXAMPLE a person dancing

mine was the 24-105L kit double the fun that day..

Took about 3 years and it was my 28-70. I still love it!

Hi, 17-40L. I asked for advice on another forum of which L lens should be my first. 17-40 had the most folks suggesting it but it wasn't the best for me. I've had for probably 5 years and have used it maybe 5 times. Have fun and keep shootin'. Mike
