I got my first "L" lenses just over a year after I got my first DSLR (and about 30 years after I started shooting SLR-type cameras). I also upgraded from a Rebel to a 7D for the autofocus and other features which make it a better camera for sports and wildlife photography (what I shoot most).

24-105 f/4
70-100 f/2.8 IS II


I like to push buttons on thingies that take pictures. Sometimes I like to push other buttons, too.
I only bite on the second Tuesday of every week, usually only mean people - they kinda taste like chicken...

If I'd ever get an L lens it's be either the 70-200 F/4 (IS) or 135 f/2. If. I'm perfectly happy without L lenses...

100L macro was my first L, got it to shoot macro and longer portrait, had it for a year. I dont use it much, but i simply love it when i do.

70-200 2.8L IS II USM. 4 weeks ago. 40D. Buying a 7d as soon as price comes down to Christmas levels. $1,100 or so. I shoot lacrosse.

my first L lens was the 24-70mm. bought it for myself xmas of 2011, about 11 months after buying my 60D. just purchase the 5D Mk III so i'm excited to get that. :)

Five year old 70-200mm 2.8 non IS. Still my most used lens by far!
