Back at the end of '07, I returned a Rebel XT to Walmart and exchanged it for the new XTi. Within a month or two, I purchased an EF TSE-24mm L lens for architecture work (read "hobby"), but sold it when I switched to Nikon. After a couple of years with Nikon, and then Pentax, I returned to Canon. Last year, I bought a used 70-200 f/4 IS lens. It didn't have the reach I wanted for wildlife at the zoo and wild animal park, so I bought a gently-used 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L a couple of weeks ago and sold the 70-200. The pics I've gotten so far have been awesome, but I have yet to get to the zoo. Definitely, not a lens to handhold!
My "Burglar's Shopping List," i.e., things to look for in my house: Gripped Canon T4i kit w/EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM | Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM "Dust Pump" | Metz Mecablitz 58 AF-2 flash
Bungling photography since 2007.
