First DLSR back in 2005 was a 20D, complete with kit lens (which I didn't ever use), but an EF 28-135 was flexible enough to cover all of my needs initially. When I upgraded to a 50D, I invested in the 'brick' which will be with me for a while, no motivation to go to the second iteration quite yet... I had no idea at the time that one lens with a red ring would lead to a further four, with another on the way Gear List

Last week I bought my first L lens that I plan on actually using, the 24-70L mk2. Absolutely love it! Such an upgrade over manual primes.
