Hi,

I have just replaced my i9100 print head as I had the 7 flash fault message on the old one.

Although it seems to be working OK, all the right noises and moves there is no ink at all reaching the paper. I have done about 30 head cleans, at least 10 of which were deep cleans and left the printer to stand for 36 hours. Not a thing.

I have tried Nozzle print checks, alignment checks, test pages and normal text printing. As before not a trace of ink on the paper.

I have tried the above on 2 different Macs with OSX, one a laptop and the other a deskop. Both connected via a USB cable.

Is there a start up sequence I need to do to 'register' the print head with the printer or what can you suggest?

Is it possible that the print head is faulty or was there more wrong with the printer than I first thought?

Thanks for any guidance or suggetions you may have.

Regards

Bill
