Allow me to bleed you smart folks of your knowledge. I've recently purchased a D-Lite 4 kit (loving it death, BTW). As you know, it comes with two softboxes, and I can already see a need for some grids.

Now the question: I am led to believe that the D-Lites can accept accessories from other manufacturers but how, exactly, do I search for them? What is it I'm looking for? "Universal Ring fittings" or "Elinchrom Ring fittings" or...? And, for that matter, how do the grids fit onto the bloc? Is there some kind of additional accessory required for grids, snoots, etc?

Thank you very much!

"Speed ring for Elinchrom"

So you will look at softboxes from, say, Chimera. Then you will look for a Chimera speed ring for Elinchrom. :) Lots of third-party softbox manufacturers make softboxes with grids (even if you have to buy them as extras, the softboxes are built with grids in mind).
