Taken around Montreal's Old Port (Quebec, Canada)
What started as a dull 'scrapshot' kinda grew on me after ALOT of pp, relatively speaking of course ... an hour and a half on a 'scrapshot' is ALOT for me.

Looking for som CC, or just your 2 cents ;)

-First is untouched after raw developpement. convert to Srgb
-Second is after a bucket load of micro PP and some Fractalius plug-in (Srgb)

And here is 100% crop of the most interesting section. Although there are lots of details 'lost in translation' of the compression:confused:

The reflection in itself makes a very nice abstract!

The second could be matted, framed and hung on your wall. Really nice.

I'd really like the 2nd one if you cropped the bridge and shore out and brought out some of the water that's hiding in the shadows a bit if you could.

I just the the bridge and shore distract from the focal point of the image.

Thx for comments everyone.

pwrmac: I did try at first when I was wondering what in the world I could do with this shot. It looked more fake than abstract... as if I created something in Bryce3d and added it clumsily to some water background. I think I'll give it another shot at cropping the bridge/docks out and bringing out the water. I'll post when done.
