Quite a tough band to cover. Especially from the pit.
and yes I know there is alot of noise, I found out after the show that I was shooting like a 800 iso or something. yikes!

are these 100% crops? not to be rude, but i've never seen images wiih this low quality, the overall compositions are fine.
what gear are you using? iso800 should not give you this poor quality. get a 50mm f1.8 if you don't have a fast lens already (which i doubt you have).

like i said, good compositions, but the quality doesn't cut it by far.

yes i know the quality is poor. Im not sure if i was on 800, it could have been higher. and as i said before,I was using a Canon Powershot S5IS (which is my roomates, and he doesnt have a 50 mm. plus that camera only can recieve adapter lenses, which means more glass for light to pass through.)

Good job considering.

These photos show why those pesky point and shoots should be banned from the crowd!

If you have to shoot from the crowd get yourself an F series Fuji compact, you can get pretty good results at iso 800 using one of them.
