I just realized that the order of the images changes according to the photos average rating. Keep that in mind when commenting. My comments are no longer valid in regards to photo number. :confused:

Not really sure what the point was here. People enter contest for all kinds of reasons. Sometimes winning a contest is a little more validation that keeping the image hidden away hoping that someone will come knocking on your door offering you a wagon load of money for it. By posting images here, you are pretty much giving them away...

I like them. I had heard rumors of stateside rally going on, but never caught one personally. Good to see some action here in the states. Good luck with it.

Two separate points, really:

The first point was providing a link to the contest rules which were being discussed earlier in the thread.

The second point was a wish of "good luck!" to the original poster... he has made it to the top 5 finalists in a photo contest.

I DO see some people get bent out of shape by these rules... but I've read them, I'm ok with them, other should be ok with me doing it. PLUS, like I said, I've sold a few so it evens out.

Meh... i gave it away to those guys... may as well give it to my virtual buddies, too.

This should look better as a wallpaper.

This was shot with my Canon 20D using my 70-200 f/4L IS

1/320 second
ISO200
f/4
Center weighted eval.
IS was On(stage 2)
0.0 exposure

Post work:

Soft light at 50% or so
Unsharpen Mask only 25% or so
That's about it. The 70-200 did the rest.
