Mark pointed out I just made my 30,000th post (I hadn't even noticed) and suggested a speech. Apparently i'm the 7th most prolific poster, and 7 is my favorite number, which is an entirely irrelevant observation, made at 2am, when I should be sleeping.

I suspect commiserations are in order, I wonder what I could've achieved if i'd spent my time doing something useful. Probably not much, since I was at work for most of that time ;)

Anyway it's been a long but quick journey between my first post asking about camera equipment and my current occupation as a professional wedding photographer. Who would've thought eh? I'm not even entirely crap any more, at least not on a good day. I've learned a lot here and I hope i've paid it forward by helping others out, and I plan to continue to do so until i'm banned for being an offensive, opinionated, drunken loudmouth. Thanks to Pekka and the moderators for putting up with me so far!

50,000 here I come!
