From the article: "Clegg accepted he had breached entry conditions which clearly state that spectators cannot carry cameras or mobile phones."

There you have it. If I were Clegg, I'd still ask for the 1Ds Mark III from Daly. Daly actually is a nice guy. He's remorseful for his action, I'm sure.

I was simply making my pitch before tee but I'm not sure I have the range needed to iron this out so we'd best flag this post and move on before we fall into a trap and end up in the bag.

Woods you like to keep this going a fairways or is it getting to rough for you?

All I can say is "Get a Grip..." :) <--- Like my dimples?

I think we now need to visit the 19th hole and hoist a pint! :)

Now there's a plan JD can get behind.

JD is known for his outbursts - he was paid a 'show up' fee to be at the comp just to try and get more paying public through the gates - and it worked. Unless he pulls something out of the hat tomorrow he won't be in the running for the bigger bucks - but he still walks with some cash in his pocket.

He also offered to replace the camera.

Typical JD. Feel bad for the guy. Lots of talent, but sooooo many demons.

John Daly has seen better days, although those were few. It is time for John to walk away. He is becoming an embarrassment to golf and to himself.

The PGA is helping John...he has been suspended for at least six months. He is now on his way to Europe to spread good will and cheer.

The way the dollar is going (and the way purses will probably shrink in 2009) he probably won't be the only PGA Tour player spending time in Europe this next season.
