I've been through so many bags its not funny, but there was one posted in here not too long ago that I cant re-find now. My chrome got stolen and I'm currently using my timbuk2 and rather than get another chrome i was going to take a chance with that new bag I cant find. It was a pretty nice bag, with a reversible strap (either left or right side) a laptop pocket and a pleasing look. My other option (I might grab one anyway for day to day stuff when I don't necessarily want to take my camera) is...

My other options if I don't find what I am thinking of as 'that nifty messenger bag' are a baily works bag or another chrome, but Id really like to try that other bag.

I have a couple months to refind and get said bag as I have to still replace my camera (also stolen when the bag got stolen)and its not biking weather for me (chicago winter = lazy me) but if anyone happens to remember the thread/bag maker Im talking about a link would be appreciated.

And please, no non messenger bag suggestions, as I said once it gets warm this will be a bag that goes with me everywhere on my bike, a bag I cant strap fairly firmly to my back comfortably isn't an option. I also don't want a backpack.

Thanks.

the new Timbuk2 Commute (not the old design with the laptop sleeve in the main pocket) looks like it'd be a great daily/camera bag. I haven't personally tried it as I have too many bags that do what it'd do... but def worth looking at.

While I dont have experience with that particular incase product, I have used their laptop cases in the past. They are made pretty well and have a fairly low profile. I used to carry my Macbook (old dual USB white ones) daily in it. Held up great while keeping a relatively slim profile for crowded subways.

Good luck

The commute is on my not so short list, but I really wanted to find that bag someone posted here a while ago. There are so many posts with 'messenger bag' in them that its making it hard for me to find the relevant post via search, but i'll keep looking.
