Red Tail Hawk w/ mouse & worm?

I got to watch this male pounce on this mouse and when he was done with the mouse he flew to the ground and started eating earthworms. I have never seen this behavior before , has anyone else seen this ? Thanks for looking.

Nice captures Chris, on the worms we have Buzzards over here that are similar to your hawks, they too feed on worms

I have not been able to get any info off the band. The best shot I have of the band is below and I can't read it. As for his sex I know from watching him mating.
