I just receive my first DSLR XSi today and I take a look to make sure the XSi Number on the bottom of it was not same number in Warranty Card. first 3 number on Warranty Card was 433XXXXX but on the XSi it 077XXXXX. Does everyone have there number match both body and warranty are the same? Or it just like that? I just want to make sure because u know maybe one day XSi got problem I still had Warranty in mind.

Are you sure you're looking at the serial number and not the model number or some other number?

Where did you buy the XSi from?

Are you in the US? If so, the warranty card is completely irrelevant as far as warranty service is concerned. All you need is the sales receipt with the proper (on-camera, not on-card) serial number. If the receipt has the wrong number on it, then you should go back to the vendor and get it fixed.

In the US, warranties are not dependent upon returning the warranty card. All the warranty cards are used for is market research. If you want to help Canon do its market research, go ahead and send it in. As far as registering your camera with Canon, I believe you can do that online.

Digital EOS 90D Canon: EF 50mm f/1.8 II, EF 50mm f/2.5 Compact Macro, Life-Size Converter EF Tamron: SP 17-50mm f/2.8 DiII, 18-400mm f/3.5-6.3 DiII VC HLD, SP 150-600 f/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2, SP 70-200 f/2.8 Di VC USD, 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 DiII VC HLD Sigma: 30mm f/1.4 DC Art Rokinon: 8mm f/3.5 AS IF UMC

The OP would need to make sure that the unit is a Canon USA warranted item though and that it is not gray market. I don't know if they're labeled as XSi's anywhere else, but I'd still check with Canon to make sure the serial number checks out.
