Wondering about getting the G10 and realised I'd need SD cards, and wonderred whether to plum for a few 2GB or two 4GB or one 8GB, which got me to wondering about relaibility

I asked yon geezoire in Jessops who sated unequivocally that SD cards were more relaible than CF cards. Is this true? ( or is he billshutting;))

All other things being equal ofcourse. Normally I get sandisk (and I'll stick with what I know;))

also TYPE should I get of these for the G10?

Sandisk 4GB Ultra II Secure Digital HC Class 2
or
SanDisk 4GB Extreme III 30MB/Sec SDHC Card

I use two (2) Adata 16GB Class 6 SDHC cards in my Nokia N800 Internet Tablet for a total of 32gb of storage space in the thing. I have zero problems with them and I use them for video as well as data storage. I don't know much about your new camera but SanDisk is not a necessity from my experience as Class 6 is Class 6 no matter the maker. I have had good luck finding deals via Newegg for SDHC cards.

Real men shoot Pentax because we're born with our own Canon's!!
{Ok...ok, some of use just have a PnS but it it always makes me happy! :D}
