Anyone Know How to Create this Shot?

It looks like they must be standing on clear plexiglas? But honestly I am a little lost on how to create this shot.

Shot with subject lying on a chroma key (or similar) sheet, isolated in PP and merged with sky background.

That's my guess.

Hints:
There's no compression of the shoes, so I doubt if he's standing on a transparent surface.
There's not much tension in his quads, so he may not be standing at all.

I would think he's lying down. Gravity is pulling his shorts downwards as if he was, instead of having space around his thigh from standing up.
