Well right now I have the 24-70L on my gripped XTi, and I love it. I dont find the lens to be nearly as heavy as people claim, but one thing really irks me...

Due to the size of the rebel and how the grip is, holding the focus ring and turning it isnt as fluid as some of my other lens, the grip interferes with the lower part of my hand which makes zooming a bit tedious.

My question is for people with an XXD series body and grip, does the grip interfere with your hand with this lens when you zoom?

Nope. Works fine on either my 30D, 50D or 5D.

However, I rarely use this lens. 24-105 is so much better in 99% of the shots I take.
