X-mas bonus time and i am in toronto! so it turns out i may have damagethe prism in my 40D from a nice hit, so using the eye piece is blurry but pics come out fine, and i use live view anyways %90 of the time. what do i own right now...
i am looking for a new lense to add to my collection..... but i am unsure, i would like to get a nice telephoto, however i would also like a nice fisheye / wide angle lense.... my 17-85 IS does me well, i know it is not the best! but i do enjoy it, my uncle just got a new Sigma 17-300 lense, and it seems pretty well made and can take some good pics.... Any thoughts? price is not so much an issue but i also dont want to spend my entire bonus. i was considering the Lseries 70-200 for about $1200... but not sure if i need that much quality?? i dont know... help clear my mind! i am in toronto so prices are CAD. Sounds like you want something a little wider. I have the Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 and like it. The Canon 10-22 is viewed very favorably around here. Sigma makes one also. The only stupid question is the one that goes unasked - Photographers shoot to thrill, not to kill
