It's a nice moody kind of shot. I think your lighting is nicely done; but I think your crop is too tight. I'd like to see more of the scene especially camera right.

i was shooting indoors with my 50mm and limited space, so things tend to be a little tight on the subject.

thanks for the input, i'll definitely keep that in mind next time.

Excellent picture. Good composition, lighting, and color balance.

i like the lightin on it, but as swingbopper said, i also would lke to see more, right frame. i think i would want the guitarist left hand in the frame, feels empty, incomplete. but its a personal choice, its a totally different compo and might lose what u are tryin to capture. will just hav to experiment and c the differences

I'm with Thoha, I think the right hand should be in the frame as well, even thought I so like the crop here as well. Light=good. One other thing, which is obviously something you can't completely change, but I wish the arm in the forefront were in focus...
Still, overall, a great image!

i was afraid of including the left hand on the guitar because of the empty space it would've created above it, so i intentionally kept it tight on his body, guitar and right hand. next time i'll consider it though.

thanks for posting! i'm glad you all liked it.
