haha I'm paying my dad back for my computer at the moment... won't be able to get another camera body for quite some time, guessing 2 or more years, I am getting into studio photography and the 15-85 is honestly GREAT at location shoots, but I could use some more light modifiers and maybe another flash.. and then after that I will probably be deciding between FF or 1.6, or maybe even 1.3... if I stay crop I can keep the 15-85 IS USM, if I go FF I will be trading for a 24-105 IS, but by the time I can get another camera the 5DIII will have been out for quite a while haha, and maybe even a 7DII!

If i did studio work id be all over a 5DII ;) Eventually i might add a FF camera to my lineup...but not right now and not for a long time, I love my 7D...I plan to keep it for 3 years just like my 30D..and then i might not sell it and just add to it

I do nature stuff, and the crop factor and absurd pixel density are nice for birds...:) as is the AF system..and everything else about it

yah the 7D is really an epic camera and before recently when I got into studio photography it was my dream next camera, its truly capable in any situation! even studio photography I'd definitely consider the 7D, the AF system is epic, the FPS is nice and the noise is very manageable. not to mention some of the best ergonomics around and a very high quality build! god I love that camera... haha! I'm considering actually just staying with the 1.6 crop because then a 70-200 would still be perfect for sports, wouldn't need anything going to 400 or so which would keep lens costs down while I could still have wider lenses for studio stuff or whatever I need, its a very long debate, that I have years to think about, so instead I'm just trying to shoot! ;)

I love the old glass though more than the glass I love the proper aperture, depth of field, distance and IR scales. The lines on the zooms are so classic!

I have a fondness for old glass,too....that's only part of the collection...I sold most of the faster glass to fund my foray into digital a few years back.
