My 1Ds Mark II sporting the Canon 50mm f/1.4 USM lens. Shot with a Rebel XS and 100mm f/2.8 Macro.

Edit: I apologize for the cheesy cross-processing effect, but I like how it brings out the the goldish labels and the band around the lens. ;)

I dig that hotshoe bubble level, I have one but it's a rectangular shape and it's only on my camera for landscape stuff. where'd you get that one?

That does look like a cool bubble, and the price is certainly cheap enough. One thing you need to remember is that with the bubble mounted on your camera, the camera will think you have a flash attached and will not pop up the flash if you really need to use it.

Hey guys, I got mine on eBay but deal extreme works too. It is actually somewhat cleverly made in that it doesn't trip the switch for the hot shoe flash. The top portion actually has a gap that hugs the top rail of the hot shoe allowing it to stay on without pressing down on the lever under it. I use it mainly on my 5D though so even if it did trip the switch it wouldn't be a problem.

To be honest, I don't even use it for its bubble level function but rather to protect my hot shoe while I'm on backpacking hikes since I carry my camera on the outside.

I'm digging the bubble. It'd help a lot so I'm not leveling in PP

See, who needs the 7D's artifical horizon with a bubble level on the hotshoe?

Thank you! I just 'assumed' the flash would not pop up. It is good to know the people that manufactured this actually thought ahead! :)

Mr Canon will be upset with you, after all his work on designing a clever in-built spirit level... you go and whack another one on! :p
