Haha, I assumed they were making the joke that if all I had for glass were a pair of 50mm f/1.8 lenses then I should sell a 1DII to get something better. Sadly a 1DII doesn't sell for that much these days! $600-800 won't exactly buy me a 300mm f/2.8L, I sure wish it did!

I'm often in shooting situations where I need to have 2-3 lenses on the go and don't have time to switch, hence the 3 DSLRs. I actually sold my 4th recently (T1i) as it wasn't getting much use, especially the video I bought it for.

Quick snaps with my Casio Exilim P&S which sure has a lot of hot pixels already...

Haha, I've actually been wondering if I could use a 'naked' 1/4"-20 bolt male-male double ended to hook them both up to do stereo-scopic imaging. Of course the tripod sockets don't line up properly and stereo images are best done in landscape orientation anyways so I'd want a side-by-side rig instead but the thought did occur to me...

Sadly if I sold them both the offspring wouldn't even be a 1D Mark III...

I could not stop laughing after reading that

Just added the 70-200 and the 300 is just a visitor for the next few days. Hoping to add something to help me out with sports, the poor 5d is begging for my to stop the abuse

Indeed...the 7D is wasted with basic glass like that

You could also sell all of it and get a 30D/40D and some good glass...
