Thanks, they are pretty cool and gets a few looks when using in public (although people probably think I'm a bit strange using an "old fashioned " camera!) It's mainly for the novelty factor though, but they cost so much to actually use (works out at £1.18 per photo!) and it's a shame the 600 film is getting quite hard to find and at sensible prices nowadays.

Yep that's a pretty nice SX-70 you got there. Is it modified to take 600 film?

I work for an insurance company and you wouldn't believe how many 600 packs we have sitting on a shelf. It doesn't get used now that we have used digital for so long.

If my boss let's me nab it I'll send you some.;)

So I just went and looked in our back room and we have 36 boxes of 600 and about 15 boxes of 779.

Crazy. No SX-70 though.

Sweet. Pull the tab. Put the emerging photo between the metal plates in cold weather. Peel off the developer. Brings back memories.

Here's a shot of some old kit. I don't have any photos of my new stuff.

IMAGE: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2319/3537613818_ec6f0dc6e2_o.jpg

1DmkII + 35L

Was taken with my 5D. Both of those turned into a 1DIII (which I have no photo of for some reason.) Then that turned into a 5DII. (I don't have a photo of that. Yet.)

I vow that I will buy another 1DIII, but for right now, the 5D is more of what I need.
