What is the white lens in the back? Doesn't look like 70-200.

I had the OG 1DS, it was a wonderful camera at the time but I imagine there are a few limitations to it these days. That does look like a 70-200 f/2.8 in the back to me. Could be wrong.

Alright boys and girls, here's my latest piece of Canon history!

The Canon EF was a rather unique camera at the time, it's built on the exact same body as the F-1 so it's an indestructible tank. Can't wait to clean it up and take it out for a shoot!

AG that is a sic piece. What's the difference between that and the ae-1 or f1?

It's way beefier than the AE-1 as it's built on the F-1 body (all brass). It also has a unique Copal Square shutter that no other Canon camera has. It's an interesting beast.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canon_EF_camera (external link)

It came with that 50mm f/1.4 SSC as well. I got it from goodwill and they told me it didn't work properly. What they didn't know is that the slow shutter speeds require battery power as well as the meter. The regular shutter speeds are mechanical. The lens also works perfectly and is not "stuck open" as they thought ;).

The other cool thing was that it came with all the original paperwork from 1977 (manuals, warranty and registration cards) it even had the original owners photo homework from that era as well! I may try and track the owner down, who knows, Could be an interesting story behind the camera.

Edit: I even just found the original receipt from 47th St. Photo in NYC. Dated 4/18/77 Price: $435.65

That's dope, I checked my local goodwill locations and no such luck. Nothing even camera related aside from small pouches and bags.
