Nice pin hole lens, Borman ;)

That's an oxymoron.

There's nothing more annoying than a beginner that buys pro level gear. I'm not just talking about photography either, it's the same with people spending a grand on their first BMX or 10 grand on their first car.

I wish I had the cash to get gear like that...but I have to get a job first. XD
Until then I'll use my birthday and Christmas cash to go to home depot and make some DIY rigs.
Man, I need a new lens too while I'm at it.

I'll post a pic later.

My god, I just read through some of his posts and you're right, he even bought a load of EF-S lenses to go with the 60D. His son must love him, although if I was him I'd be a bit embarrassed that my dad was one of those "all the gear, no idea" sort of people.

I would be ecstatic if my dad bought me a lens. I love my kit lens (which isn't the best) so anything more would be amazing...

That's right
Now I feel that I am crazy, because I spent all this money to learn photography from a big camera like 5D Mark II
I think that I am, I will sell this camera and I go back to use a small compact camera to learn photography from A to Z
and i will need only to shoot my family photos not like a pro photographer
