Thanks and yeap, i guess most other people would have had their 5D2 as their main camera but not me. I like my 7D so much i prefer to use it as my main workhorse and so far it never let me down. The 5D2 is good but it's lousy AF system makes it only work as a backup and secondary camera during events. When i got portraits in poor lightingconditions i shoot them with the 5D2 as it deals with ISO noise well and it renders sharp images. :)

Here's my typical setup.

Basically an iPhone using DSLRbot to control everything from multiple exposure bracketing (up to 20!) to long exposure and even time-lapse and controlling movie functions. Works really well.

I've got everything setup using velcro, that way it's easy to setup and quick to break down.

I've used this setup out of the sunroof of my car doing time-lapse while driving around the city, worked great and I can monitor everything on my phone, while I'm driving (yeah, that's safe... )

What what what? That's awesome I haven't even heard of this app. How does it trigger the camera? Is it using some kind of IR sensor in that cable?

I'd love to know more about that configuration.

Yes, it's using IR to control the camera. It can do HDR up to 20 brackets, time-lapse at any interval, long exposure (set it and forget it) and even control movie mode functions. The app is like $5 and you can either make the IR transmitter yourself (they include directions) or buy one from then for like $10... I bought theirs as I didn't want to hassle with it. The transmitter can detach from the cable, so you can plug it directly into the phone or put it on any length of cable you want (mines about 3ft so that I can shoot out of my sunroof). It's pretty cool - check it out http://dslrbot.com (external link)
