Eh? this thread is for Photo's of your Camera Gear, so in quite a few cases the Cell Phone cam is the only bit of Camera Gear the Member owns that is not in the Photo. In which case no appology is required. Of course if the Member is using a Cell-phone cam when a better alternative not in the photo is avaliable they should be ashamed of themselves lol.

For me its not that there isnt a better alternative, as i could grab the D3100 and do it, its that the D3100 isnt very convenient to get, if i want a gear shot, my iphone will work fine

Besides if you want truely horrible i could use the camera on my eePad transformer

I know all the past comments have been directed at me. And fyi it is an iphone 4 and i have an Epl1 that was not charged. But i aints gonna apologize

Why do you think it was aimed at you? Yours was actually a quality photo and I would never have guessed it was a phone camera, Infamous20V's however is quite terrible (should've took that damn Nikon out of the frame and used that, would've been a bit better xD). I like your tiles by the way.

Does this count...?
8 Megapixels, Flash, Zoom, Scene Modes, Exposure Compensation, White Balance Adjustments, Color Effects, Macro, 1080P Video (I still hate video on still cameras, but I might get used to this one...)

I took this shot, to show the new lens my husband bought me for Christmas. The flash blew out the shot when it hit the metalic bag, but I liked how it turned out and kept the shot anyways.

I like it too, if you could edit out the stuff in the background it'd look even better.

I really need to learn how to develop my own film!

Developing black and white film is extremely easy - just takes some practice loading the film into the tank - there are some plastic tanks ..(or used to be)...that supposedly could "automate" the system and be used in daylight since only the leader was exposed (film was loaded in the 35mm metal casing you put into a camera), but I never trusted them. I always used a standard stainless tank and stainless reel - it's something you need to do in complete darkness (thus the practice) - with already ruined or developed film with no value. You do that part of it dry, so it's not messy, you just need to make sure the film goes onto the reel perfectly so it doesn't touch itself.

I never tried developing color film, but here's a video of the process (link at end of post) - it seems like as long as there are labs, it would be a lot easier to let them do it. Getting the chemicals to exact temperatures seems like a PITA.

The only trouble with this little "how to" video is he completely skips the process on loading the tank, which is tricky as I said. But with a bit of practice it becomes second nature. I really can't remember how long it took me to get it right 100% of the time since I started when I was 9 years old or so.

My first job after college was as a photographer's assistant at a very large ad agency. The interview was just a five minute chat - then he had me load a tank with 35mm film inside a light-proof changing bag. I was able to do it fast enough to satisfy him and really that was all he cared about since he told me that whatever I thought I knew about photography, he didn't care because from that day on I'd do things his way.
Funny thing was I don't remember ever using 35mm film the entire time I was with him...everything we did was in medium or large format. Despite the POTN obsession with "full frame" - 35mm really IS a compact format.

Anyway, here's the link:
