my camera
perched on a grad-all
connected to my laptop via usb for tethering
with about 20 doodads hanging off it (pocketwizards, remotes)

for a dusk exterior shot

I'd like to see the bag all that gear fits into... :-)

I have the same kit minus the macro lenses! Love it, but upgrading the body to a 600D.

Yeah I grand for the NEX7 isn't for me. I do appreciate where they're going with this though. More glass and I'll be aight.
Dan- enjoy the heck out of that thing, it's just so fun to use. Cheers

Thanks, so far I am liking it. I'm heading out to Vegas next week and I'll be bringing it with me to give it the once over.

With or without it looks cool. Good to see some variation here, even though it is a canon site

Switching to Olympus was a bit of a financial one... Sold my 24-105 f/4L and with that money, bought that combo... I sold my other lenses and body, and was able to buy my micro 4/3 kit, and still have cash left over for more glass...

I considered it at one time because when i was thinking of switching for the D300 + 16-85 the guy at my local camera place pulled out the E-3 + 12-60 SWM kit and said "Try this out"

I remember going "Holy crap this thing is a TANK" and then being VERY impressed with the AF speed and everything, then asked him how much, and he said the reason he was showing it to me is they had a Dealer Special on it, where you get the E-3, 12-60 SWM an Olympus flash unit and a few other accessories for around $2000, Compared to the D300 which was $1800 at the time and the 16-85 was another $700 it was a considerable savings for a very nice camera

Thinking back on it, it was a great deal but i dont regret not doing it

I ended up going home crunching the numbers and deciding to hold off because my 30D + 17-55, 200L and 10-20 were not going to get me enough to get more than just a camera and a lens, I also decided I'd much rather get the D300...it was the more suitable camera for what I wanted...

Then I changed my mind and wanted an a700 + 16-80...And then I joined here you all smacked me and suggested I just try playing around my lens setup instead

Well, I figured I would post my stuff.

First picture is of my EOS 1n film camera. I friggin love this thing, got it off my dad a few years ago. Shot film for a long time and have a 70-200 f2.8 IS attached.

Second one is of my newly acquired t3i with 10-22 attached. Im liking it :)

And the last picture is of the pair. Papa with his lil' rebel :D Papa is getting older, so he needs a nifty fifty to help keep him from tipping forward sometimes..
