Completely agree with you. I've had a Rebel XT for a couple of years before I got 50D. This past weekend I've had an opportunity to use Rebel T3i and while I like the photos rebel controls drove me crazy.

T3i with my 50 1.2L lens. Love both more than life itself. Will be hopefully acquiring new gear soon. My next big purchases are a new tri-pod, a 70-200L, a flash and when the 5D MK III comes out that too. But I gotta save up for a while!

Same here. I had a rebel for a couple of months them i played around with a 7D. I have been hooked ever since. The controls are genius on my 50D.:cool:

For me the 7D's controls and layout was a big step up from the 30D

I agree, the Elan 7 was my first Canon camera! (in 1999). Jon are all those cameras yours?! 3 7Ds a 5DmkII and an Elan 7E?
