I couldn't imagine being that limited

I love having a FF camera with just a 50mm or 35mm lens on it. To each their own, but I like being "limited" in certain instances.

No idea of the model number, but it's clearly a smallish Manfrotto pan head - owner must be into doing a lot of video

Could be useful for macro too, I guess, but not with those two lenses. ???

Moving day about a year ago - IIRC the pic was taken with a Canon S400 or maybe an SD450 - S400 was stolen since, but I have the 256MB CF card I got with it and remember it cost $100 at the time.

In certain instances yes, I do enjoy going out with just one prime, but to not have anything else at all must get boring quickly.

Depends on your shooting style. Once in a while I contemplate chucking everything out and just getting a 1Ds and a nice 50mm, but I'm too heavily invested in gear already.

Sometimes 1 camera and 1 lens can be a very freeing thing, though I understand where you're coming from.

Actually I think it would be a possibility that Julian was granted one of the first 1Ds MK IV
Canon might do this based on his persistent, forceful and very successful promotion of the TS-E 17 & TS-E 24 II to the photographic community

The power of the dark side compels you!;):p

Looks good, Julian.

Now let's see the BOTTOM half of the front of that camera, along with some sample images please. ;)

LOL! I can't tell you any secrets.:p

Actually, they wouldn't since he spends more time promoting Leica now, instead.

Hehe! :p I don't own the M9 anymore bcoz' I wasn't using it enough. I'll own it again one day. :)

I never took having one lens as limited IMO.
I've read of many photographers I respected very much use only one rig and captured many incredible shots. I tried it and overcame my need for a bag full of gear and what not.
Anyway, nice rigs everyone
