School comes first. ;) One you're done with your studies and find work, you can buy all the gear you want.

Haha yeah true. And then I'd probably sigh because I wouldn't have as much time to photograph. Oh well! Tradeoffs.

A friend shot a photograph of my camera when I went back to visit my primary school recently.

--list of gear--

BUSTED  3 birthdays' worth of presents, a whole lot of holiday/weekend paid assignments, and no girlfriend that lasted . I'm just jealous of his CZ / 1Ds3 setup, and his few months with the Leica M9.

...I swear this "gear list" linking isn't doing myself any justice at all.

I was just going to say - you have my two current dream lenses (35L and 24-70) and my current dream camera (5DmkII). "Le sigh" should not be in your vocabulary :).

Do you seriously only have those two lenses? I assume your sig isn't out of date as you've added the 5DII. I couldn't imagine being that limited, and as you can only stick the 70-200mm on the 5DII the focal ranges have become redundant.

I am waiting on my 24-105 and my 50mm to come. I do have to buy my gear slowly i cant afford it all at once.

Yeah it does suck being stuck with the 70-200 but we all had to start somewhere right? Plus i purchased the 70-200 for my 550d last mont and did not intend on getting a 5d so soon.

No idea of the model number, but it's clearly a smallish Manfrotto pan head - owner must be into doing a lot of video

Could be useful for macro too, I guess, but not with those two lenses

The model number is 391RC2, im not doing any video. I never realised buying a tripod that came with a head meant i was doing video :o Man you guys are super critical.
Im also waiting on a ball head. Ill maybe just remove my gear list to save anymore confusion.

Thanks

Derek
