Hey, Give me a 70-200 as my only lens and id probubly be oddly happy..

The model number is 391RC2, im not doing any video. I never realised buying a tripod that came with a head meant i was doing video Man you guys are super critical.
Im also waiting on a ball head. Ill maybe just remove my gear list to save anymore confusion.

Don't worry. Some gear are better for specific things, without it being critique.

The good thing with POTN is that you can get a lot of help with upcoming gear.

Lots of people gets bad (or at least less than optimal) advice in the camera store and gets the items the store have a good margin on or that they just happens to sell a lot of, instead of the gear that best matches other owned gear or intended usage.

It's totally cool I don't mind at all. I don't think the 55-250 fits on the 5d anyway. I now have my 50mm on my 5d

im in the same boat with you turning 16 this year... I wish i was into collating hot wheels Instead i get a little L for my birthday and now I spending all my money

I wish I could get an L for my b-day. I get maybe $100 if I am lucky... I finally was able to save up enough $$ for a 50L.

I'm 19...just got my first pro series body. I'm more than happy with my setup for a while, but I've got my eyes on the Brick and a 5D at the end of this year. Working six hours a week to save money is painful...

ya but i bet it's worth it I was going to save up for the 50L but got the 1.4 until i decide to go FF then ill get the 50L

Yeah, see my plan is to get the 70-200L as well THEN either get the mk II or III. I'll probably go for the II. In addition to that I gotta get a new tripod a flash and a couple more accessories

get the II I saved up a while and had enough money for the 2.8 is and just about ordered it until i realized that i would think that i could have got the best Holy crap this lens is sick!!! I have a hard time using my 24-105 cause its not even as close to how sharp the 70 -200 is

Get the Sigma 50 1.4...I was going through the same decision and I went for the Sigma. Best decision of my life. 99.9% of the 50L for less than half of the price.

ya i was thinking about that but i really love the 50L got to play with one in a camera store I'm just in love with the feel

I was about to sigh too, but then I realized I have other hobbies as well...mountain bikes are expensive. I'd have the 24-70 in no time if I got rid of mine.
